Help Support the CentraCare Health Foundation
Invest in exceptional care
CentraCare Health Foundation exists to improve health and health care. It really is that simple, it just takes a tremendous amount of work. Our staff and our board tackle that challenge head on, engaging our community to invest in exceptional care within CentraCare Health and its 23-county service area. The Foundation’s work — and your generosity — benefit all of Central Minnesota by supporting advances in treatment and technology across a spectrum of health care services.
There are different ways to give, and simply put, your gift will provide a healthier future.
Dr. Howard Zimring & Casey Myers Memorial Funds
When we lose special people in our lives, we often feel compelled to do something to honor their memory. CentraCare Health lost two family members in the past few months and now their colleagues have chosen to honor their legacy by creating a named fund through CentraCare Health Foundation.
The Dr. Howard Zimring Memorial Fund has been established in his name through the CentraCare Health Foundation. Dr. Zimring, a Heart & Vascular Center Cardiologist for 18 years, passed away unexpectedly in winter 2019 of a cardiac arrest while he was biking. This fund will benefit the greatest needs of the CentraCare Heart & Vascular Center. |
|
The Casey Myers’ Fund has been established after Casey, an Adult & Pediatric Occupational Therapist, passed away tragically in an automobile accident, along with son Simon, in fall 2018. The Casey Myers’ Fund at the CentraCare Health Foundation will help to carry on her legacy and will be used to assist Rehabilitation patients with the purchase of therapeutic equipment not covered by insurance such as weighted blankets, brushes, specialized prism glasses or swings, etc. |
|
Pediatric and Adult Rehabilitation, with the blessing of Casey’s family, also is purchasing a memorial bench in honor of Casey and Simon. It will be located along the walking path at CentraCare Health Plaza where Casey frequently walked.
Please Note! If you would like to contribute to Casey’s or Dr. Zimring’s funds, please use the “Donate Now” link below. Please select Designation “Other” and type “Casey Myers” or “Howard Zimring” in the box that appears.
