St. Cloud Hospital:

• The only Level II Trauma Center in Central Minnesota
• Serves the needs of trauma patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week
• Equipped to handle the most critical orthopedic trauma injuries with an FAA-approved helipad, serviced by Life Link III air ambulance.

In addition to general orthopedic surgeons, we have two fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeons (Mitchell Kuhl, DO, Timothy Hiesterman, DO) who are involved in all major orthopedic trauma situations. Emergency medicine physicians are supported by a dedicated staff of specialty nurses and other support personnel. They have immediate access to imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound), surgical anesthesia, critical care needs and other support services.
