Watercress Salad with Walnuts
Salad Ingredients
- 2 bunches watercress, washed and broken into mouth size pieces
- 5 ounces Swiss cheese, cut into thin rectangles
- 3 green Granny Smith apples, cut into cubes
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 4 tablespoons chopped red onions
Vinaigrette
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 1/2 garlic cloves
Directions
Blend all vinaigrette ingredients for 2 minutes. Refrigerate for two hours. Mix with salad ingredients. Serve immediately.
