Technology - Center for Surgical Care at St. Cloud Hospital

The Center for Surgical Care offers the latest technology:

  • Laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgery, which allows for smaller surgical cuts through less muscle to help you heal faster and get back home sooner.
  • Mako and da Vinci robots. Learn more about da Vinci surgery.
  • Experience in the use of image-guided, computer-assisted surgical technologies in neurosurgery, orthopedics and otolaryngology. This technology allows surgeons to see where surgery instruments are relative to critical body parts.
  • 24 state-of-the-art operating rooms. The technology in these rooms gives surgeons and staff instant access to patient data, diagnostic images and videos. Watch a video showcasing our new operating rooms.
  • Endovascular operating rooms for complex trauma and vascular procedures, including aneurysms. The rooms' advanced imaging technology can scan patient blood vessels and reconstruct them into 3D images, allowing surgeons to make smaller and more precise incisions. Watch a video of Fareed Suri, MBBS, explaining the room’s technology.
