Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy helps people of all ages do daily activities. Our occupational therapist can help people whose ability is impaired by:

Receiving Occupational Therapy
Individuals receive occupational therapy on an inpatient or outpatient basis, at the long-term care facility, and through home health care services. Treatment is initiated upon the order of a physician. Following an evaluation, treatment objectives are identified and coordinated with the patient and/or family, and other members of the health care team.

Speech Therapy

Cancer Care
Chemotherapy / Oncology
Intravenous chemotherapy at CentraCare Health – Sauk Centre allows patients to receive cancer treatments closer to home and work closely with referring oncologists to make your chemotherapy treatments as convenient as possible – saving travel time and costs.
In addition to administering chemotherapy treatments, nursing staff also update the patient’s oncologist and call to check on the patient. They provide emotional support, education about side effects and additional resources that may be of help.
Follow-up lab work can be done at CentraCare Health – Sauk Centre as well as CT, MRI and other diagnostic tests.
Hilary Ufearo, MD, an oncologist from Coborn Cancer Center visits the CentraCare Health – Sauk Centre outreach clinic on a monthly basis to see patients.

Sleep Medicine
Sleep disorders such as sleep apnea can be easily identified through sleep diagnostic testing at CentraCare Health – Sauk Centre. Testing is performed overnight in a private sleep room. Sensor as attached to the body to monitor breathing, heart rate, brain activity, muscle activity and oxygen levels while the patient sleeps.
Once a sleep disorder has been identified, treatment can be prescribed to help improve the amount and quality of your sleep.
Sleep consults are available on a regular basis. CentraCare Health – Sauk Centre works in collaboration with St. Cloud Hospital’s Sleep Center to provide sleep consults and sleep study locally.
