Respiratory Therapy

CentraCare Health - Monticello's Respiratory Therapy provides comprehensive testing and treatment delivered by staff who are licensed through the State Board of Medical Practice.  CentraCare Health - Monticello offers this specialized service 24 hours a day for inpatient care.  We also offer outpatient testing including Pulmonary Functions, Cardiac Testing, and Pulmonary Rehab.

Cardiac Testing:  We offer both exercise stress test and tests for those who are unable to exercise.  Holter monitors are offered which allow the physician to view your cardiac activity on a constant basis for 24 to 48 hours. Event monitors are also available for use up to 30 days.

Pulmonary Testing:  Full pulmonary function testing is offered at CentraCare Health - Monticello to help diagnose chronic diseases such as COPD and asthma.  It can also be used to look at possible lung changes due to environmental factors such as smoke, dust or chemicals.

Pulmonary Rehab:  CentraCare Health - Monticello's Pulmonary Rehab program offers education and exercise to help those with chronic lung disease. While in the program, patients receive information to help better understand pulmonary conditions and optimize physical conditioning to support a more active life.
