Receiving a diagnosis of cancer can lead to many questions. Sometimes the comfort you need is finding someone who understands your situation, hears your concerns and offers you hope. Having one resource, close to home, that provides this comprehensive care for you or a loved one, can help eliminate the questions and fears that often accompany a cancer diagnosis.

The Monticello Cancer Center understands that treating cancer involves not only state-of-the-art technology and expert providers, but also an environment designed to care for the whole person. That is why we offer supportive services developed to relieve stress, encourage emotional well-being and inspire relaxation.

Complimentary services designed to care for the whole person at the Monticello Cancer Center include:

  • Reflexology - Hand and foot massage
  • Massage Therapy
  • Monthly support groups
  • One-on-one visits with a pharmacist to consult on medications
  • One-on-one visits with a dietician
  • One-on-one visits with social services
  • Onsite volunteers to provide comforting items such as blankets, books, food, hats and movies to patients receiving chemotherapy or radiation treatment
  • Reduced cost wig program
  • Therapy dogs visits
Nurse Navigator
The caring staff at the Monticello Cancer Center is committed to supporting overall wellness during your cancer treatment and that is why a nurse navigator is available to support you and your family every step of the way. Our nurse navigator offers individualized assistance to provide education and resources to ensure that you make informed decisions and create a plan of care that meets your unique needs including resources for insurance questions, financial assistance, metal health assistance, home care and hospice needs.
2018 Cancer Support Group Calendar

Sharing and learning with others can be healing and that is why the Monticello Cancer Center offers free, monthly support groups on the third Thursday of every month from 4-5 p.m. in the Spiritual Center, located on the lower level of CentraCare Health - Monticello. Each support group meeting includes a half an hour of education on a variety of topics including meditation, self care, nutrition and financial advice followed by a half an hour of discussion and sharing in a supportive, friendly and compassionate environment.
