At CentraCare Health - Long Prairie, our rehabilitation team is comprised of licensed and certified staff members to assist patients in overcoming their temporary or long-lasting disabilities while offering support and skills to help patients on the road to recovery.

Our comprehensive department features inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services tailored to each patient based on his or her needs, tolerance for therapy and desired outcomes.

We recently launched a new teleneurology program. The goal of the program is to improve access to care and health outcomes among patients recovering from stroke or TIA (transient ischemic attack).

A patient navigator will work with the patient and health care providers to manage care, whether in the office, by phone or by video conferencing using telemedicine equipment.

Chemotherapy / Oncology

Intravenous chemotherapy at CentraCare Health – Long Prairie allows patients to receive cancer treatments closer to home and work closely with with referring oncologists to make your chemotherapy treatments as convenient as possible – saving travel time and costs.

In addition to administering chemotherapy treatments, nursing staff also update the patient’s oncologist and call to check on the patient. They provide emotional support, education about side effects and additional resources that may be of help.

Follow-up lab work can be done at CentraCare Health – Long Prairie as well as CT, MRI and other diagnostic tests.

Hani AlKhatib, MD, an oncologist from Coborn Cancer Center visits the CentraCare Health – Long Prairie outreach clinic twice a month to see patients.

John Dvorak, MD, an ophthalmologist from Eye Surgeons and Physicians of St. Cloud, provides monthly outreach clinic and surgery to CentraCare Health – Long Prairie.

We address a variety of eye concerns, including:
