St. Cloud Hospital Hosts Veteran’s Recognition Program

CentraCare Health will be hosting the annual Veteran’s Recognition Program on Tuesday, May 22 from 10-11 a.m. in the Hoppe Auditorium at St. Cloud Hospital.

Honoring all veterans, the program’s featured speaker is Dr. Jim Tuorila, founder of Freedom Flight, Inc., a non-profit that seeks to honor and increase the awareness of P.O.W. /M.I.A. issues. Made up of dedicated volunteers, Freedom Flight, Inc. operates three POW/MIA hot air balloons at various events across the United States and the world.

Elizabeth Leason will lead the national anthem. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

CentraCare Health's Home Care and Hospice Services sponsors this event and are also a proud partner of We Honor Veterans, a pioneering campaign that recognizes the unique needs of America's veterans and their families during end of life care.
