CentraCare Health – Monticello’s State-of-the-Art Ambulance Provides Increased Safety and Enhanced Care for Patients

CentraCare Health – Monticello’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) recently introduced a new ambulance to its fleet to provide increased safety and enhanced care for patients receiving emergency care. The ambulance’s state-of-the-art technology and modern design features include:

  • A designated work station area in the ambulance which allows the crews to remain seated and secured with a six-point safety restraint system while providing patient care when the ambulance is in motion
  • Patient cot offers enhanced safety and comfort features to improve patient experience and accommodate patients of all sizes
  • Enhanced stretcher mounting system to ensure patients are more secure during transport.
  • Increased cab size to enhance the safety and comfort of the ambulance ride
  • LED emergency warning lights are highly visible allowing the ambulance to more easily navigate through traffic with greater safety
  • Floor to ceiling catch-netting in attendant area to ensure crew and patient safety during the ambulance ride
  • Sound proof enhancements to decrease noise for patients
