Kidney Dialysis Center opening in Renville County

Renville County Hospital and Clinics and the CentraCare Kidney Program, a division of The St. Cloud Hospital and CentraCare Health, are partnering on a new dialysis center to serve the needs of Renville County patients.

“Partnering with Renville County Hospital and Clinics is an important step to provide the best possible kidney care to those in need,” said David Walz, CentraCare Kidney Program Director of Dialysis and Renal Services. “We look forward to working with the team of professionals at Renville County Hospital and Clinics to improve the quality of life for dialysis patients in their communities.”

The dialysis center will be located at the former Renville County Hospital and Clinics – Olivia Clinic building in Olivia, Minnesota. This building has been newly renovated to better serve the needs of dialysis patients. The CentraCare Dialysis Center will provide outpatient renal dialysis services featuring the most state-of-the-art technologies and personalized patient comfort to serve local patients who need dialysis treatment. Patients will receive their hemodialysis treatments in a clinical environment that is cheerful and homelike. Treatment options will include in-center hemodialysis, home hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.

The new dialysis unit in Olivia will begin providing service to patients on August 10. In honor of this, there will be an open house for the public. Staff will be present to answer questions and give guided tours. Cookies and juice will also be provided. This open house will take place from 1 – 4 p.m. on August 7 at 600 East Park Ave, Olivia, MN 56277. Contact the Olivia dialysis unit with questions at 320-523-1046.
