CentraCare Health – Monticello’s Laboratory Services Receives Recognition For High-Quality Service
CentraCare Health – Monticello’s Laboratory services received accreditation from The Joint Commission during a recent two-day, onsite survey. The survey reviews several areas of Laboratory services to ensure compliance with federal standards including equipment quality and performance, sample collection, quality control, analysis, documentation, staff credentials, and final reporting.
The Joint Commission is a non-profit group that provides national accreditation and certification to more than 19,000 health care organizations and programs throughout the United States. Their mission is to continuously improve health care by evaluating organizations and inspiring them to excel in providing safe, effective, high-quality care. The Joint Commission accreditation and certification is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting specific performance standards. CentraCare Health - Monticello achieved The Joint Commission accreditation for Laboratory services for the next two years.
