CentraCare Health – Monticello Recognized for Breastfeeding Support

CentraCare Health – Monticello has been recognized by the Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Breastfeeding Coalition for a Breastfeeding Friendly Workplace. The awards recognize the hospital's commitment to adopting and informing staff about breastfeeding policies; providing private; exclusive places for staff; visitors and patients to pump breast milk and ensuring adequate breast feeding breaks for moms.

"We have worked hard to ensure that all moms have a place to nurse their babies while visiting, working or staying at the hospital," said Hannah Whalen, RN, Birth Center Manager at CentraCare Health – Monticello. "This recognition demonstrates our commitment to support the health and wellness of all moms and babies on our campus."
