St. Cloud Hospital Emergency Entrance Construction Continues

St. Cloud, Minn. – The old St. Cloud Hospital Emergency Trauma Center entrance continues to be closed. The emergency garage is designated for ambulance and law enforcement only. During the construction of its new south entrance and driveway, patients can be dropped off at the Woods entrance. Staff is available there to assist you.

St. Cloud Hospital visitors: Please use the Woods entrance between 9 p.m.-5 a.m. The walk-in door located on the edge of the ambulance garage is closed.

The closure is part of a redesign of the Emergency Trauma Center entrance. Construction of phase one of three will be complete in early 2016. The redesign of the entrance will:

  • Improve patient access
  • Enhance safety and security
  • Be more efficient for staff, improving emergency room services for our patients

In the meantime, we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause our patients and staff.
