‘Immediate jeopardy’ Status Removed from St. Cloud Hospital

St. Cloud, Minn. – “Immediate jeopardy” status was removed from St. Cloud Hospital at 11 a.m. today.

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) accepted the action steps that were taken in recent days and returned the hospital to its normal status as a participant in the federal Medicare program.

“The hospital has been under intense scrutiny by MDH investigators, who in summarizing their findings today were complimentary of our staff, policies and procedures,” said Hospital President Craig Broman. “We were confident that this matter would be resolved quickly and are extremely pleased with this outcome.”
