CentraCare Health Foundation Awards $996,260 in Health-Related Grants

St. Cloud, Minn. - The CentraCare Health Foundation approved 15 grants for a total of $996,260 at its board meeting April 13. Each year, the CentraCare Health Foundation averages $650,000 in grants to improve health throughout Central Minnesota. The Foundation’s grants support projects that promote health education, conduct research or provide services or programs that improve health and health care for residents of our 12-county region. Those receiving grants for this quarter are:

  • BLEND (Better Living Exercise & Nutrition Daily Program)
  • Central Minnesota Concussion Collaborative
  • The Yes Network : Neighborhood Based Summer Activity Program for Kids
  • Fraser: Fraser St. Cloud Expansion
  • Operation Grace MN: Operation Oral Health Stearns County
  • Assumption Community Services: Supporting Hispanic Older Adults and those with chronic health concerns through Live Well at Home
  • Minneapolis Pathways: St. Cloud Renewing Life Facilitator Training
  • Minneapolis Pathways: ThinkFirst Program
  • St. Cloud Hospital: Comfort Carts
  • Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota: St. Cloud Area Crisis Nursery
  • Circle of Parents: Parent Education- Parents as Partners
  • CentraCare Health – Melrose: Melrose High School Concession Stand Health Remodel
  • Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota: Seizure Smart Schools
  • Recovery Plus: Artist in Residency Fund
  • Light the Legacy: End-of-life care and advance care planning serving the local immigrant population
