Geri Jacobson, MD
Dr. Geri Jacobson is the Medical Director and one of the Medical Providers at the Central Minnesota Child Advocacy Center. Dr. Jacobson attended medical school at the University of Minnesota. She completed her Pediatric Residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Jacobson worked for the Indian Health Service at the Gallup Indian Medical Center in New Mexico for 11 years before moving back to Minnesota. She has worked for CentraCare Pediatrics since 2011 and works part time at the Child Advocacy Center. Dr. Jacobson is passionate about kids. She believes that every child deserves to be well cared for and loved. She enjoys the challenge of caring for kids, where her training and experience mean the most. Dr. Jacobson also enjoys reading, running and spending time with her family.
Supervisor, CAC Operations
Cheyenne Orcutt, BS, LADC
Cheyenne currently works as the Supervisor of Operations at the Child Advocacy Center. Before, she was a Child & Family Advocate Specialist. She has a bachelor’s degree from St. Cloud State University in Community Psychology and Chemical Dependency. Cheyenne is currently working on obtaining her master’s degree in Social Work. She worked as a Chemical Dependency case manager for over five years before coming to the Child Advocacy Center. She has a passion for helping families support their children and heal from the impacts of trauma. She also enjoys working with a large multidisciplinary team. Cheyenne likes spending time with her family, singing and being outdoors.
Medical Provider
David A. Kruse, MD
Dr. David Kruse is one of the Medical Providers at the Child Advocacy Center. Dr. Kruse specializes in pediatrics in child services for CentraCare. He has an interest in general pediatrics and sports medicine. Dr. Kruse completed his residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He also completed his medical education at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Dr. Kruse is a sports fan (particularly for the Iowa Hawkeyes). He enjoys cheering for his kids in their activities. He loves coaching them on the basketball court.

Kelly A Woods, CPNP/FNP-C
Kelly Woods is a Pediatric and Family Nurse Practitioner. Kelly Woods works part time at the Child Advocacy Center. Kelly received her BA Degree from the University of Minnesota in Sociology and Biology. While attending college, she worked as a victim advocate at the Sexual Violence Center at the University of Minnesota. Kelly went to graduate school at Case Western University FPB School of Nursing in Cleveland, Ohio, where she received her MSN in both Pediatric and Family Practice. Kelly has been in practice since 2004. She went into pediatrics to take care of and impact the health of children and loves what she does. Kelly enjoys exercising, running, sitting in the sun and being a hockey mom to her three sons.
Forensic Interviewer
Tiffany Thompson
Tiffany Thompson recently joined the Central MN Child Advocacy Center as a Forensic Interviewer. Tiffany brings 17 years of investigative knowledge and experience through her previous employment as a Saint Cloud Police Officer. Tiffany’s hope is that through the collaborative approach of the multi-disciplinary team and child centered focus; children leave the CAC with a feeling of restored faith and dignity. Tiffany’s focus throughout her career has maintained a priority of proactive and positive involvement in the lives of children and is proud to serve as a member of the multi-disciplinary team at the CAC. Outside of work, Tiffany enjoys traveling, camping and fishing with her family.
RN Lead
Deb Schwiebert, RN, SANE-P
Deb Schwiebert is the SANE-P (Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) at the Central MN Child Advocacy Center. Deb obtained her nursing degree at St. Luke’s School of Nursing in Cedar Rapids Iowa and is a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota. She is a state and national chapter member of the International Association of Forensic Nurses. Prior to working for the Central Minnesota Child Advocacy Center, she was employed for over 25 years at a Child Advocacy Center in Iowa. Deb has always enjoyed working with children and their families and has a passion for caring for children who have experienced trauma. She enjoys spending time with her family, spoiling her grandchildren and spending time on or near Minnesota lakes.
Nurse
Nikki Laudenbach, RN
Nikki Laudenbach is a Registered Nurse at the Central Minnesota Child Advocacy Center. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Nikki also went on to obtain a master’s degree in Nursing Education from Walden University. She has worked as a nurse in Pediatrics for over 10 years and a Nurse Instructor for the past four years. Nikki is passionate about her work and says that working in Pediatrics can be challenging but rewarding. She hopes that what we do for the children that come to the CAC will have a positive impact on their lives.
Mental Health Professional
Monica Guggenberger, MS, LMFT
Monica majored in Psychology at St. Cloud State University and then went to grad school at North Dakota State University where she got her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She currently works at the Sartell Behavioral Health Clinic for CentraCare and see clients for individual psychotherapy. Monica sees children, teenagers and adults. She serves as the mental health professional as a part of the Multidisciplinary Team meetings for the Child Advocacy Center. She also receives referrals from the CAC for kids that may benefit from therapy who are not already working with a therapist. Monica has three kids of her own (all girls), who keep her very busy! Her life outside of work is full of dance, dolls, music and playing house! She also is an avid reader and loves spending time outside.
