If you had a baby, are scared and don’t know what to do, don’t abandon your baby. Bring your unharmed newborn, up to 7 days old, to the hospital, an urgent care facility or call 911 and give the baby to ambulance staff when they arrive. Tell them you want your baby left with “Safe Place.” They will give protective shelter, health care and aid to unwanted newborns.

We will work with county social services to find a home for the baby. We promise you confidentiality. We will not call the police.
