This free, open forum for breastfeeding mothers and their babies is designed to share information, answer questions and provide support for mothers experiencing the joys and challenges of breastfeeding.
The group is hosted by Abby Boelter, Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and Kelly Woods, Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
This program is for CentraCare Health patients only. Nursing moms and their babies are welcome. (Sorry, dads and older siblings.) To protect the health of our youngest infants, only children under 12-months of age with up-to-date vaccinations are allowed to attend.
About the hosts:
Abby Boelter, LPN, IBCLC, is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant who provides education and support to mothers of breastfeeding patients. She has worked for CentraCare Clinic since 2009 and started in her current role after receiving her certification as a lactation consultant in 2013. She and her husband have a son and a daughter.
Kelly Woods, CPNP, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner who has a special interest in the growth and development of children. She and her husband have three boys.
Meets second Thursday of each month from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Kremers Room, Lower Level, CentraCare Health Plaza.
