CentraCare Health – Monticello Celebrates Birth Center One Year Anniversary

CentraCare Health – Monticello’s Birth Center celebrated its one year anniversary on March 4, 2015. Since welcoming the first baby a year ago, the Birth Center has been privileged to deliver 290 babies to growing families in our community.

“We feel so happy and to celebrate our first year of being a part of such a special event in families’ lives,” said Hannah Whalen, RN, Birth Center Manager at CentraCare Health – Monticello. “Throughout this past year we have watched grandparents welcome their first grandchildren, cheered on siblings as they became big brothers and sisters and, most importantly, supported moms and dads as they greeted the newest addition to their family. We look forward to welcoming many new babies into our community in the future.”

“The one year anniversary of the Birth Center is a great milestone for our community,” said Timothy Olson, MD, OB/GYN at the Monticello Clinic. “Working closely with the compassionate and knowledgeable staff at the Birth Center has provided me with an opportunity to witness first hand their dedication to truly supporting new families every step of the way.”

To honor the Birth Center’s one year anniversary, physicians and staff enjoyed a birthday cake celebration.
