CentraCare Health Respiratory Therapists Honored with American Lung Association Award

St. Cloud, Minn. – The American Lung Association of Minnesota honored Jessica Oman and Lisa Owens with the Distinguished Service Award on Tuesday, May 6 for their outstanding work and leadership with the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program and Support Group in St. Cloud.

Through the pulmonary rehab program and support group, adults with chronic lung disease learn how to manage their daily lives despite the obstacles they face. In 2006, the American Lung Association of Minnesota started a patient conference that continues today. Each year, Jessica and Lisa promote this educational conference to their patients and also organize a bus and chaperone the group for this trip. Last year, their “road trip” included 26 attendees! The American Lung Association of Minnesota has recognized their extra efforts and has honored them for their hard work in bettering the lives of patients!
